SafeSplash Swim School Expands to Concord with New Afton Ridge Location
Premier Swim Programs Bring Life-Saving Water Safety Education to Cabarrus County
CONCORD, NC (February 2, 2026) – SafeSplash Swim School, the nation’s premier learn-to-swim and performance-based swim school, is proud to announce the opening of its newest location in Concord (Afton Ridge) at 6330 Bayfield Parkway, Concord, NC 28027. The swim school will host an Open House celebration on February 7, ahead of the official opening and the start of swim lessons on February 12, 2026.
Drowning remains a leading cause of accidental death for young children nationwide, cementing the urgent need for accessible, high-quality swim education. SafeSplash Concord (Afton Ridge) aims to meet this community need head-on by offering proven, structured swim programs that teach essential safety skills in a supportive, progress-focused environment.
The new school is led by General Manager Teresa Bostic, who brings more than 20 years of experience in the aquatics industry to the Concord community. A longtime advocate for youth development and safe swimming practices, Bostic has dedicated her career to helping swimmers of all ages gain confidence, develop essential life skills, and foster a lifelong love of the water.

SafeSplash Concord (Afton Park) is also proud to offer the newly launched S.A.F.E.R. Swimmer Promise, a structured swim program designed to achieve clear, outcome-driven results, serving as a key differentiator in the swim school space. This initiative provides clear timelines and measurable milestones to ensure that kids make real progress in their swimming and water safety skills. The program promises tangible results within one year, with up to two additional months of free lessons if goals aren’t met. Supported by NDPA, the S.A.F.E.R. Swimmer Promise is designed to address the childhood drowning epidemic by teaching critical skills, including floating, rolling to breathe, and swimming to safety.
